welcome on the website of Johan Heylen

Johan Heylen, a pensionned postman en long distance champ, won for example the first national Orange in 2004.

His father, Pieter Heylen, also was a famous long distance player with several good national results.

In 1988 for instance, Pieter was the national winner on Narbonne and represented Belgium on the Olympiade in Gran Canaria.

In the past Johan got his youngsters every year from his father. The Orange-winner was from the same breed, a grandson of the Olympiade. Johan called him "De Pieter", in memory of his deceased father.

You can find more information about this in the chapters "history" and "composition". Feel free to take a look at the other sections too.
